Privacy & tracking

What this website collects, why, and how to stop it. Last updated 28 July 2026.

Growlancer Limited runs this website. This page describes, in plain English, exactly what happens when you visit it. We have kept it short because there genuinely isn't much to it.

What we collect when you browse

  • Page visits and time on page. When you load a page we record that a visit happened, which page it was, and how long the page stayed open. If you arrived from one of our links, we record the campaign tags in that link (for example, that you came from a LinkedIn post rather than an email).
  • Clicks on our buttons. We record which call-to-action was clicked so we know which parts of the site are useful.
  • Video progress. If you play a video, we record roughly how far through it you got (25%, 50%, 75%, 95%).

This browsing data is not tied to your name or email unless you separately give them to us using a form on this site.

The two things we ask permission for

When you first arrive, a small box at the bottom of the screen asks whether you accept cookies. Nothing in this section runs unless you press Accept. If you press Decline, or ignore the box entirely, neither of these ever loads and nothing on the site stops working. The browsing data described above is ours, is not sold, and continues either way.

Microsoft Clarity

Clarity records a replay of your visit: where you moved the pointer, what you clicked, how far you scrolled, and where you left. We watch these back to find the parts of a page that confuse people. Microsoft processes this data as a separate company under its own privacy terms, and it sets cookies in your browser, including an advertising identifier of Microsoft's. Clarity masks text content by default, so we see the shape of the visit rather than what you typed.

LinkedIn Insight Tag

This lets us measure whether our LinkedIn content and advertising leads to visits, and show ads on LinkedIn to people who have visited this site. LinkedIn processes this data under its own privacy policy, and it sets cookies in your browser.

To change your mind: click Cookie choices here or in the footer of any page, and the permission box comes straight back. Switching from Accept to Decline reloads the page so the change takes effect immediately rather than at your next visit. You can also turn off ad targeting in your LinkedIn advertising settings, opt out of Clarity via Microsoft's opt-out page, or block both with any standard tracker-blocking extension. Nothing on this site stops working if you do.

Neither of these runs on our Campaign Reveal page at all, whatever you choose.

If you give us your email

If you subscribe to our emails, your email address is stored in Kit (our email platform) and we use it to send you the material you asked for, plus occasional related emails. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link, and we honour unsubscribes immediately and permanently.

If you book a call

Bookings are handled by Calendly. The details you enter when booking — your name, email, and anything you write in the booking notes — are used to prepare for and hold that call, and are stored in our own systems alongside the record of the meeting.

What we never do

  • We do not sell your data to anyone.
  • We do not share it with third parties beyond the tools named above, which process it on our behalf.
  • We do not use this site to collect sensitive personal information, and you should not send us any.

Your rights and how to reach us

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email colin@growlancer.co and we will action it. If you are in the UK or EU, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
